Office 365 online is quite cheap and up to date on the subscription service. It's all just a lot of instant gratification, have to have the latest of everything even it it is worthless or not a real improvement, kind of bullspit. I spend more time going back to what I was doing then actually doing. If they do, it will be a miracle. Note that some of these files were saved in 2009 and before.
I have never experienced anything like it with my clients using Apple products, Google Gmail, Google Docs or the like. Not sure what I joined just to have a forum to respond to this site. Also I think you can find them on ebay. Is that what you are saying? They are due more federal benefits than veterans. I hate the idea of renting software. The only way I can get the file type to change is to load a doc file into Word 2010. Now I can open word files even back to 1995!!!! By the way, the Publisher component works fine. Who hasn't been hacked and compromised in shamefully massive breaches? I do not want to be forced to pay again for another office suite when 2007 suits me fine. I'm not sure why an installation of Windows 10 , which is an operating system, should change the file type from one version to another. End of life just means the software won't be supported anymore, no issues will be resolved with the software and you won't get the best experience going forward, as things may stop working over time. That was exactly my problem. I therefore cant even write a letter.
