Just for the heck of it I installed mudbox 2017 with the latest update on my laptop that had been upgraded to sierra but had no previous installs of any autodesk products. I have the exact same issue…Mudbox 2016 works fine but 2017 just bounces up and down in the dock for a few seconds and then disappears; nothing ever appears on the screen. Autodesk Mudbox is an advanced digital sculpting and painting software, it delivers an intuitive work environment and professional tools. I had working copies of both maya 2017 and mudbox 2017 running just fine. I am using a Network license, so I haven't been able to test the Standalone portion. This is for 2016 Ext 2 but adjust the paths and it works 2017 too. This software is developed for the professional designers and the 3D artists all around the world. The icon bounces in the Dock as if it's about to launch and then it just crashed, repeatedly. Anyone get this script to work with Maya 2018, or know the secret sauce?
