I wanted to format my hd but did not realize the recovery disc was on my hd. Tapping the F10 has worked and the computer is currently restoring itself. Thank you very much for your time! I can get to task manager and start a new task and execute explorer. I had removed all these not sure why t came up but i tried to enter previous ones. Close the tray, and restart the computer. I discovered this after installing Linux Lite as a dual boot with Win7 and after the install it showed the Recovery partition which will boot into this. I have been to the acer website but could not find any drivers related to controllers so am confused now.
